Bragg Goldur was born to Tanimarian soldier Pyrem Goldur and his wife Penelope. Having lost his mother at an early age (under unknown circumstances), Bragg grew up wanting to be just like his father. Bragg spent much of his childhood mirroring his father, even while Pyrem would be on duty. This would oftentimes get them both into trouble, but Pyrem’s superior officer, Gannish Rey, would take it easy on the two of them, knowing their circumstances. When Bragg could be convinced to not follow his father, he could be found helping Gannish’s wife Yala at the Tanimar Orphanage. There he would do any heavy lifting that needed done and he would also serve as their very own “city guard”, a position he was very proud of. In- between his duties, Bragg would join school classes that were held for the kids who lived at the orphanage.
When his father transferred to Boon, Bragg moved with him. There, he joined the village guard rotation. Not long after he arrived in Boon, Bragg’s life would come to a premature end by an unknown assailant. Bragg was on his nightly patrols when he was taken by surprise and was attacked from behind, receiving the fatal wounds that would cut his life short. This would crush Pyrem, leaving him to deal with the loss of his only son years after he lost his wife.
Later on, during the Necrowave Crisis, Bragg’s corpse would be reanimated and join the hordes that would attack the fledgling village. This would further break Pyrem’s spirit, as he was forced to end his son’s life a second time, as he was mindlessly attacking his fellow villagers.
Later still, Giselle Ciress (secretly a celestial being in disguise), saw the pain that Pyrem was in and used her ability to return dying souls to life on Bragg (how she was able to do this on a twice dead corpse is beyond even her to explain). Days after Giselle performed this miracle, Bragg would show up in Boon with no knowledge on how he got there. His return brightened Pyrem’s existence to no end, who was happy to once again have his son in his life.
Since his (second) return to life, Bragg has returned to his duties as a Boon city guardsmen and began dating Allison Hoan, daughter of Garrett Hoan.
